Your money, on your phone, and nowhere else.

SpendPulse is an expense tracker that keeps every transaction on your device. Log spending in seconds, set budgets that warn you early, import a bank statement without it ever leaving your phone.

On your device
  • Nothing leaves your phone

No account, no sign-in, no cloud copy of your ledger. Your transactions live in a database on your device and are never uploaded — not to us, not to anyone.

  • Ten seconds, not ten taps

A home-screen widget, a pinned notification, and long-press shortcuts all write a transaction without opening the app. Amount, category, done.

  • Import a statement, keep the evening

Drop in a PDF or CSV from your bank and SpendPulse reads it, matches merchants to categories, and skips anything already recorded. Parsing happens on the device.

Most expense trackers are a database of your life, held by someone else.

SpendPulse has no account, because it has nowhere to put one. Your transactions are written to your phone and read from your phone. There is no server holding your ledger, which also means there is no server to be breached, sold, subpoenaed, or quietly repurposed later.

Everything in it

Built for the tracking you will actually keep up

An expense tracker only works if logging costs nothing. Everything here exists to make the honest version of your month cheaper to maintain than the vague one in your head.

  • Safe to spend

What is actually free to spend a day for the rest of the month — after the subscriptions and bills that have not come out yet, not just what you have already spent.

  • Recurring charges found for you

Subscriptions and bills are detected in your own transactions. No list to maintain, and a reminder before each one is due.

  • Budgets that warn early

A nudge at 80% of a limit and again when it is gone, so a month goes wrong slowly enough to do something about it.

  • Reports and PDF export

Spending by category and by month, exported as a PDF or CSV you own — for an accountant, a claim, or your own records.

  • App lock

Fingerprint, face, or device PIN before your balances are visible. Handled by Android itself; the app never sees your biometrics.

  • Multi-currency, your rates

Record in any currency and convert with rates you set yourself. The app never fetches a rate, so it never contradicts what your bank charged.

  • Encrypted backups

Export an AES-256-GCM encrypted backup with your own passphrase. Restore it on a new phone; nobody else can open it.

  • Summaries, not noise

A weekly recap, a monthly wrap-up, a mid-month budget check-in, and a nod when you go days without spending. Every one of them optional.

Questions worth asking

  • Is my financial data really never uploaded?

Yes. There is no account and no server that holds your ledger. Transactions, categories, budgets and settings are stored in an embedded database on the phone. The app does make three kinds of network request — push announcements, a feature-settings fetch, and the Play Store — and none of them carries a transaction, an amount, or a category. The privacy policy lists each one.

  • What happens if I lose my phone?

Because nothing is on a server, there is nothing to restore from unless you made a backup. SpendPulse can export an encrypted backup file that you keep wherever you like, and restore it on a new device. That trade is deliberate: no cloud copy is the point.

  • Which banks can it import from?

It reads CSV from most banks, and PDF statements including EasyPaisa, Payoneer, PayPal, and Pakistani banks such as BAHL, UBL and HBL. Password-protected PDFs are supported. Anything it cannot recognise can still be entered by hand.

  • Does it cost anything?

No. SpendPulse is free, and there is no subscription or paid tier.

  • How do I delete everything?

Settings → Erase everything removes every transaction, category, learned import rule and setting. Uninstalling does the same. Since we hold no copy, there is nothing to ask us to delete.
